ABOUT US
Hi, there! It's nice to meet you! Allow us to introduce ourselves.

MEET THE STUDENT ADVOCATES

Hi! I'm Josh, and I work as the research associate and the assistant of the social media and promotions manager of Sex Ed and Whys. Through this advocacy, may we be able to aid in ending the stigma against the implementation issues of comprehensive sex education across the country.

Kristine Karole Therese Flores
Hello, there! I'm Kristine. I am passionately tasked as the graphic artist and the social media and promotions manager of Sex Ed and Whys. With an outgoing personality, I am always willing to reach out to those in need of assistance across social media and help in informing others with sex education through intelligible graphics.

Athena Jean Suan
Hi! I'm Athena. I am the research associate of Sex Ed and Whys. My job is to find credible resources that aid as the foundation of our advocacy. I am glad to be of service and hope that one's sexual and reproductive health would be much prioritized as well.
MAIN OBJECTIVES
• Emphasize the right of men and women to be informed and to have access to safe, effective, affordable, and acceptable methods of family planning of their choice, as well as other methods of their choice for the regulation of fertility which are not against the law, and the right of access to appropriate health-care services that enable women to go safely through pregnancy and childbirth.
• Improve the quality and range of existing services, as well as basic and applied research on new services in regard to reproductive health where it requires information on the magnitude of reproductive health problems, the effectiveness and feasibility of alternate actions to overcome the problems, and the resources needed to do so.
• Ensure that young people receive reliable and potentially life-saving information from trusted sources about sex education and reproductive health where multiple sexual psychosocial risk and protective factors affecting sexual risk behaviors are being addressed.
